You are using Weeva’s website at scv.weeva.com to provide original written content (“Content”) and/or images (“Images”) for inclusion in Santa Clara Vanguard’s book for SCV's 50th Anniversary and/or Santa Clara Vanguard’s marketing materials including, but not limited to, its website and social media sites. All Content and Images (collectively “Material”) you provide to Santa Clara Vanguard and its affiliates (collectively “SCV”) through Weeva’s website are governed by the terms and conditions contained herein.
When you submit Material through Weeva’s website you grant Weeva and SCV the right to collect, copy and store the Material, including, without limitation, your name, and email address. You acknowledge and agree that any Material you submit is at your sole discretion and may be modified, changed or altered by Weeva and/or SCV. You agree that you shall not be compensated in any way for use of the Material.
You agree that for other good and valuable consideration herein acknowledged as received, that all Content shall become SCV’s sole and exclusive property and you hereby grant to SCV and its affiliates, successors and assigns the royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable and transferrable right to copyright and use, license, print, publish, re-publish, display, adapt, modify, alter, distribute and create derivative works from the Content without restriction as to changes or alterations in any medium or format now known or thereafter developed. You hereby grant to SCV a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable license to use your Images, which license includes the rights to copy, reproduce, modify, sublicense (across multiple tiers), publish, perform publicly, create derivative works from, and distribute your Image in any medium or format now known or thereafter developed. SCV is not obligated to use the Material in any way, including, without limitation, in the book for SCV's 50th Anniversary.
You represent and warrant that: (i) the Material is original and you own and control all the rights in and to the Material; (ii) the Material will not infringe upon or violate the rights of any third party, including but not limited to copyrights or privacy or publicity rights; (iii) you have the rights necessary to grant the rights contained herein; (iv) no additional consents or permissions from any third party or entity are required; and (v) you shall not upload or distribute any Material or other information that includes bugs, viruses, worms, trap doors, Trojan horses or other harmful code or properties.
If you did not create the original Material and are not the copyright holder of the Material, please do not submit Material. If you do not want to provide Material or do not agree to the terms contained herein, do not register or contribute.
